Boating on the lake

Lake Tobesofkee is a man-made recreational lake covering nearly eighteen hundred acres and is six miles long with a 35 mile shoreline. The lake is fed by Tobesofkee Creek. Lakefront or Lakeview sites are available along with boat ramps at the parks. There are no boat motor restrictions or size limits on Lake Tobesofkee. You must have a Georgia Certificate of Boat Registration and a validation decal to legally operate your boat or personal watercraft on public waters in Georgia, except for sailboats under 12 feet in length and canoes, kayaks, row boats and rubber rafts that have no mechanical propulsion. Please check with the Georgia Department of natural resources regarding all boating regulations at www.goboatgeorgia.com.
