Bring your family closer to nature, by camping out at our parks. Arrowhead and Claystone Parks are open year-round and offer clean, spacious campsites that can accommodate tent or RV campers. Both campgrounds offer full electrical and water hook-ups, as well as disposal stations for sanitary purposes.

If a reservation is made but the guest fails to show up for the first night without providing any prior notice, the check-in time will still be at 2pm.

THINGS TO KNOW

The following rules are intended to provide an enjoyable family camping experience for you and your neighbors.  Parents are expected to inform their children of these rules and are responsible for their supervision.  Violation of these rules could mean early departure without a refund.

CHECK-IN TIME: 2:00 PM CHECK-OUT TIME: 12:00 PM (NOON)

REGISTRATION: All campers, visitors, guests, and pets must be registered at the gate upon arrival and prior to entering the campground.  Persons registered to camp must show a valid driver’s license or picture identification and must be twenty-one (21) years or older.  Campers may stay a total of seven (7) nights within a thirty (30) day period at Waterfront Sites or Full-Hookup sites.  Campers may stay a total of fourteen (14)  nights at Electricity/Water sites.  Campers may stay a total of fourteen (14)  nights at Tent sites.

CAMPING EQUIPMENT: Camping occupancy is limited to one camping unit (R.V., Pop-up, or Family tent) and one additional small tent per Campsite.  Tent Camping is not permitted on Pull-Through, Waterfront, or Full-Hookup Sites.  The use of major electrical appliances, such as but not limited to, refrigerators, washing machines, icemakers, etc. is not permitted outside any Camping Unit.

GUESTS: Facilities at Lake Tobesofkee are for use by Registered Guests only. Visitors are required to register at the Gate before entering the Park. There can be no more than four (4) people registered to one site at any given time. All Visitors must leave the Park by 10:00 pm unless registered as Overnight Guests. Registered Campers are responsible for ensuring their visitors have properly registered at the Gate, and that all Campground rules are obeyed.

SPEED LIMIT:  5MPH: If it seems ridiculously slow, you’re doing it right! No motorized or battery-powered vehicles (ATVs, dirt bikes golf carts, motorized scooters, golf carts, go-carts, etc.) are permitted in the Park other than golf carts displayi8ng a valid handicap sticker.

PARKING: Registered Guests must park on their assigned site. We allow only two (2) vehicles per site. Additional vehicles must be left in the Visitor’s Parking Lot. No oversized vehicles (tractor-trailer trucks, wreckers) will be allowed in the Camping Area.

QUIET HOURS: 10:00pm-8:00am. Please refrain from loud noises during this period. All radios and televisions must be at minimum volume. After 9:00 pm, all children under sixteen (16) years of age, must be accompanied by an adult. Parents are responsible for the action and safety of their children.

PETS: Lake Tobesofkee is pet-friendly, but owners will be totally responsible for their pets at all times. Pets cannot be left unattended at any time and must be on a leash when not inside R.V. You may not leave your pet inside your R.V. if you leave the Campground. All pet litter must be cleaned up immediately and those not in compliance will be asked to leave the Park (no refund). Noisy pets will not be allowed to stay and only one warning will be issued prior to request to remove the pet from Park. Pets are not allowed in bathhouses, playground areas, and beach areas.

CAMPFIRES: All fires must be contained inside the metal fire rings located at each site. Campfires must be kept knee-high or below and not left unattended. Fire rings must not be used to dispose of cans, bottles, or other household trash. All fires must be extinguished by midnight.

FIREWOOD/TREES: No cutting of trees/firewood is allowed in the Campground or adjoining properties. All firewood brought into the park must be removed prior to checkout. Please do not drive nails into or disfigure trees.

DUMP STATION/PORTABLE SANI-STATION: The Dumping Station is located near the exit of the Park and is free to all registered Campers.

GARBAGE: Please bag your garbage and place it in the large trash receptacle near the exit of the Campgrounds. Only household-generated garbage should be placed in cans.ALCOHOL: No alcohol is allowed inside Recreation Area. Disorderly conduct, drunkenness, or obscene language is forbidden.

FAQ’S

Arrowhead and Claystone Parks are open 365 days a year, and tents or RVs are welcome.

Both campgrounds provide full power and water, a dump station, and offer laundries and full-time park ranger staffs.
